Perlubie Beach

We had a good night sleep. We left Smoky Bay today for Perlubie Beach in the Streaky Bay district. It is one of a few beaches that is compact enough for heavy caravans to beach camp. We seized the opportunity to set up on the beach and it didn’t disappoint.

We were extremely lucky to get a spot at one of the beach shelters. It was one of 5 on the entire beach. This meant we had shade without the need to pull out the awning.

Having a look at the stretch of beach there must have been upwards of 80 campsites on the beach.

We went swimming in the water and played in the sand. We explored the beach.

Madeline made an adult friend, her named was Mercedes. She was kayaking on the water and let Madeline jump in and row it herself. She did a fabulous job. Madeline was very proud of herself.

We finished the day was a lovely dinner. We all slept early as the sun, sand and water tired us all out.

Babcia and Dziadzio are camped in Streaky Bay and coming to visit us tomorrow.
