Power out, rooster-awakening and toilet woes

Sunday 24th January 2021

Madeline is screaming that her light is chasing her. It’s 8pm on Saturday night and our 2.5yo daughter wants to get out of her caravan bunk bed. After finally getting her to self settle by 930pm we pass out from exhaustion.

130am I realise it’s very warm in the caravan. The microwave is off, the fridge was flashing and aircon off. The powers out. Our fans are running in 12V. Jason walks outside but no plugs pulled or flipped clipsals. Back in the caravan to open the windows. It’s cooler outside then in. Back to sleep.

230am daughter screaming blue murder. Too tired to fight. Carry daughter to our bed and sleep squished all night until 5am.

Rooster-Awakening

Cockcadoddle-do went the roosters (many many roosters) at 5am. WTAF? Back to sleep until 630.

Madeline is awake and so is the whole flock of roosters, screeching. Good morning from the Sunday Morisset Showground Poultry Auction.

Power out

We found out from the neighbours that the power went out because their van aircon tripped the main clipsal. All fixed now.

Sunshine Park

Off to the park we go, at Maddie’s request. We will see every park in every town we visit by the end of our trip.

Swansea Heads

After lunch and a nice long nap, mummy and Maddie went to check out a beach on the coast. After 30mins drive, we found ourselves at a beautiful, gentle rolling waves beach. There was splashing and running through the waves. We had an absolute ball.

Toilet woes

Our toilet cassette blade fell out. We have a c220 and can’t find anyone or anything that can help put it back together. Purchasing a backup cassette until we can get the original fixed.

A street with her name…

After returning for the evening, we had a wash, dinner and played some hide and seek before bed. Tomorrow we hit the road again.
