Today we slept until 745am. Oh was it nice to sleep in a little.
Last night at around 730pm there was a sudden change in weather. Massive gusts of winds that turned our washing line and outdoor chairs on their heads. The rain came bucketing down and it was all over in the space of 30min. It was like a mini hurricane hit us by surprise.
We decided to hang out at the van today.
We played a lot of games today, including Madeline’s two new favourite games. Rolling a ball down a hill and ball chasers.
Eva did Maddie’s hair and spent some time cracking macadamia nuts.
We went fishing off the wharf today. Madeline loves to reel in her float as soon as it is cast.
Eva made some yeast risen pizza dough this morning. We are having meat lovers pizza tonight.
Madrid still playing with her Bubushka dolls, it was an awesome purchase.
We had pizza for dinner. Eva’s rounding of pizza dough leave much to the imagination. It tasted wonderful. Madeline ate 2.5 pieces.
Tomorrow
We plan to head to Elliot Heads tomorrow for swimming and fishing in the morning.
Part of the beach is a surf beach and the other a very calm relaxing waveless lagoon.
