Wild weather, Mini beachcomber and Catching crabs

Thursday 4th March 2021

Last night was full on. We had very heavy rain made worse by gusting wind up to 60km/hr. Madeline was a little concerned by the noise. We were a little concerned that the awning might fly away.

We made it through the night unscathed. Eva woke up early for sunrise and headed to the beach to do some metal detected. She came back empty handed.

We all went out again as a family and brought in a big haul of items. It included a 2c coin.

The surf was very rough today. A perfect day for surfers.

We played at the park today before having a beautiful lunch at the cafe.

Madeline rode her scooter and Jason rigged up some more rods.

Eva went for a meet and greet at the practice, which went really well. She starts Monday.

This afternoon we walked the beach again this time chasing crabs.

Madeline is obsessed with chasing bush turkeys at the moment. They ran just at the sound of her voice.

Tomorrow

We’ve decided to pick up our plans from Tuesday and head to the National Park tomorrow.

We are not sure what is there and what to expected. It’s a exploration mission.
