Sunday 25th July to Saturday 31st July 2021
This week Eva started her 6 month locum at a medical centre in the heart of Darwin.
Eva was in awe as to how organised they were with all the personalised gear ready for day 1.
The practice is fabulous, the doctors are knowledgeable and she’s loving her work there.

This week was filled with more arts and crafts as Madeline has really taken to designing and making things.

Buffalo Creek
On Eva’s Day off we took an afternoon trip to Buffalo Creek for beach play and fishing.

Buffalo creek is a northern suburb of Darwin.
Buffalo Creek is an undeveloped suburb.
The name is taken from the stream of the same name which first appears on maps in the 1940s by the Army.
It is located approximately 16kms from the capital Darwin covering an area of 10.168 square kilometres.

Library
Having joined the library, Madeline spends a morning a week at Toddler time and playing with the toys and kids there.

Home Duties
Madeline helps daddy water the…pavement.

She also helped clean up the never ending leaves on our concrete slab.

East Point
On Friday the 30th we took Maddie and her bike to East Point.

East Point Reserve is one of the largest reserves in the Darwin municipality boasting 200 hectares of green space and recreation spaces.
This point, the easterly extremity of the entrance to Darwin Harbour has been used for a variety of purposes. It was the site of naval and anti-aircraft guns during World War II (1942-46), a post war golf course and currently a recreation reserve including a pony club and a war museum.
Lake Alexander

Lake Alexander is a man-made lake that provides safe swimming throughout the year, and is a popular picnic and barbecue stop.
Lake Alexander is part of Darwin’s East Point Reserve, and is set on a peninsular of land overlooking Beagle Gulf.
It has long lengths of cycle and walking paths, picnic facilities and BBQs.
There’s also a great playground to keep the kids entertained.
