Darwin Week 27 to 29

Sunday 9th January to Saturday 29th January 2022

Monday 10th January saw the arrival of Diane (Eva’s Sister) from Sydney.

Madeline was so excited to see her Cocia Diane for the first time in 12 months. Cocia spoilt Madeline and played lots and lots with her.

Wednesday 11th January saw the arrival of Babcia and Dziadzio Blimka (Eva’s parents) from Sydney.

As Jason and Eva spent much time at home with newborn Charlotte, the family to Madeline out on many adventures.

Natasha and Gabriel arrived in Darwin on 20th January.

Cocia, Gabriel and Natasha took Madeline out for some more entertainment.

Diane, Chris, Gabriel and Natasha took a day trip to Litchfield National Park.

Leaving too soon

After a wonderful time together it was time to farewell the family.

Lin (Jason’s mum) left on the 15th January.

Diane, Natasha and Gabriel left on 24th January.

Chris (Eva’s dad) left on 25th January.

Wanda (Eva’s mum) stayed on for another week to help with Madeline and Charlotte a bit more.

26th January – Crocodylus Park

While Wanda babysat for us, we took a morning trip to Crocodylus.

Crocodylus Park is Darwin’s premier wildlife park, featuring thousands of crocodiles from cute li’l hatchings to snappy big ‘uns.

Founded by Darwin based world-renowned crocodile biologist Professor Grahame Webb, the park is also home to lions, meerkats, spider monkeys, marmosets and cassowaries.

Crocodylus has a crocodile breeding program and is well known for its ongoing crocodile research.
