Sunday 21st November to Saturday 18th December 2021
So Darwin is now gearing up for Christmas. There are loads of activities planned but the weather is quite volatile.
Sunday 21st November dad and Madeline took a ride on the Casuarina Christmas train.

We did more library time together and also hung some of our arts and crafts in the caravan.

Madeline let teddy try out Baby Morris’ bassinet.

We’ve had some glorious days of rain. It’s wonderful to drop 5-8 degrees on a rainy afternoon. We even had the chance to get out and jump in puddles!
Madeline had her Santa photos as well!

We’ve had some great sunsets on the stormy backdrop.

Madeline has been helping more and more with cooking.
Madeline has really enjoyed watching the RAAF planes flying, doing formation and landing.
On the 5th December we attended Darwin Carols by Candlelight. It was hosted at The Darwin Botanical Gardens by Woolworths.

Madeline had her first fireworks display as well. She really enjoyed the night.

Madeline also had her first haircut. She did really well.

Lots more arts, crafts and play as we battle the 38 degree Darwin heat.

Eva had her work Christmas party on Saturday 11th December.

Madeline had a visit from the paramedics and a trip to the ED with high temperatures and difficulties with breathing on Tuesday 14th December.
She perked up in the ED. We were discharged and she improved within 48hrs.

By day 2 she was jumping and running around.
We are moving into our housesit this coming weekend on Sunday 19th December. We will be spending Christmas in the house and New Years Eve. Looking forward to spending some time out of the caravan.
Catch you soon.
