Sunday 21st March 2021
Today we were rained in, so it was a day for indoor activities.
We had another bad night sleep. Madeline woke up in hysterics at 1am and came to our bed for the night.
We woke up at 8am after a rough night.
We measured Madeline this weekend. She’s 93 tall. Growing nicely on the growth charts.
We heard a croaking noise outside this morning. Searching outside lead to no find of a frog.
It wasn’t until we cleaned up outside that we found Jason Jr.
We made a few batches of rissoles for this week. We went shopping for this weeks food. We also enjoyed a treat of some crackers and dip.
After dinner we washed up and got in PJs. Madeline requested we dance. We put on dance music, a strobe light on our phone and had a 20min disco in the van.
A wonderful day to end the weekend with.
Monday 22nd March 2021
After a relatively settled night sleep we woke up at 630am.
Eva left for work at 730.
Jason and Madeline went to Agnes Water library today. Madeline is in her element around books.
We spent a whole 90mins exploring the library. We printed off some art and craft stuff to do for Easter.
Eva stayed late at work after being inundated with paperwork.
We had a late dinner and an early night sleep.
Tuesday 23rd March 2021
We had a really rough night sleep. Madeline didn’t eat well yesterday and skipped most of her dinner. We think she was hungry overnight.
Regardless Eva went to work and Jason got up to play and do learning with Madeline. She is practicing her tracing numbers skills currently.
We went to the library again today.
It was another rainy day. We only have a few more days forecast and then it is meant to clear for the weekend.
Madeline loves dancing to music at the moment. Lots of music and dancing happening.
Wednesday 24th March 2021
Today it had cleared up upon waking up. Eva walked to work and the heavens opened on the way there.
We went to the beach today. The wild weather made a massive channel between a little creek and the ocean. It resulted in massive amounts of erosion.
We built sandcastles and dug holes.
Thursday 25th March 2021
Today the sun was finally out. We’ve had a string of ok nights without too many wake ups.
Today while Eva worked, we enjoyed some time at the caravan. We did some washing and cleaning. We played ball, drew artwork and
We played outside a lot today. Also we had some cuddle time.
Friday 26th March 2021
Today we awoke at 530 to find the end of our bed wet. 2 nights before, after forgetting to close the hatch we got about 30sec downpour into the van.
It appears some water may have tracked in to the roof cavity through the roof hatch and it was coming out through the roof seem.
It had dried up completely by lunchtime. A quick check revealed all the silicone sealant on the roof was in take with no further points of entry.
We took a bike ride to 1770 today. Madeline was so tired after waking at 530, she couldn’t keep her eyes open.
After a busy week at work, Eva has only 1 week left.
Saturday 27th March 2021
After a good night sleep, we woke up at 530am. It was a sunny day today. We had pikelets for breakfast.
This morning we went to Agnes Water Beach. Jason took his drone and lure fishing rod.
Madeline and Eva built another beach bath and played all morning in it.
Both of us were successful on the lures today. We caught a flathead and 3 dart fish.
This afternoon we went to 1770. Eva went metal detecting. Jason and Madeline went to the park.
Next week
Next week will be our final week in Agnes Water. We will be heading up to Rockhampton next for 5 nights.
