Suds, Sponge and Sparkles

Monday 19th April 2021

We had a broken sleep with Madeline again coming to sleep in our bed around 1145pm. She’s having nightmares and they seems to scare her enough she does want to be alone.

Today was windy and so we decided to put the day to good use and do some cleaning.

Jason and Madeline cleaned the car and caravan on the outside. Eva cleaned the inside of the caravan.

We washed the bedsheets today to and aired out the donna in the wind.

After a long morning, we had some lunch. Jason cleaned out the tunnel boot. Eva took apart the gas stove, as one of the ignition points wasn’t working. Turns out it just needed a clean.

Early afternoon, Madeline had a bath and had her hair washed. She did some education with daddy. She is getting good at spotting differences between pictures. She understands “the same” and is starting to grasp “different.” Similar sounds are a little tougher.

After this she went to play with daddy, while mummy crumbed 1.5kg of chicken breast.

Never wanting to wear shoes

Madeline has gone from not wanting to walk with her shoes over dust and sand, to being shoeless. She still has an issue with dirt, strands of hair, sand, anything really, on her hands.

Jason took the drone for a spin before evening damper with the farm visitors and residents.

Tomorrow

We drove to Townsville where we will be for almost 4 weeks. Eva is working for 3 weeks as a locum.
