Wednesday 16th March 2022
Today we packed up and left Kings Canyon Resort. We retraced our driving route back to the Stuart Highway. We drove 275km back to Erldunda.
We stopped for lunch are Kernot Range Rest Area.
Eva and Jason shared the driving today. It was very windy on the drive. Eva was buffeted coming around a corner and maintained control with the RedArc. Jason was buffeted on the straight by an unexpected gust of wind but got control immediately. We were taking it easy driving 20km under the speed limit to keep good control of the car and caravan.
We arrived at Erldunda around 130pm and found a spot.
Eva took Madeline to the pool while Jason put Charlotte to sleep. It was hot today 41 degrees and a feels like temp of 38 degrees.
We got out of the pool and went to cook dinner at the caravan.
Madeline played dress ups with Charlotte. Charlotte hand no choice in the matter.
Tomorrow
We travel another 250km to Marla in South Australia. We finally cross the border out of the Northern Territory.
We’ve changed our plans slightly to do more kilometres daily. Both girls are traveling in the car very well.
