Friday 19th February 2021
Today was a quiet day. Madeline was up for 2.5hrs overnight just awake.
We had to pack our bags and leave Fraser Island today, so there was a lot of waiting around today. We checked out at 10am and our barge was at 2pm.
We arrive back on the mainland and Madeline fell asleep in the car on our way back to the caravan. We decided to leave unpacking the car until tomorrow as Madeline needed her nap.
We drove up to Toogoom just north of Harvey Bay. It has a large creek opened to the ocean which is a fabulous fishing spot.
Family catch-ups
Eva hadn’t seen her uncle Jerry in well over a decade, maybe even two. He lives in Harvey Bay with his beautiful wife Ali.
We were lucky enough to be able to visit them tonight and catch up with them over dinner.
Madeline was invited to collect some eggs from the chicken coup.
We arrived back at our caravan after 4 nights away. It’s like home sweet home. ❤️
Tomorrow
Tomorrow we head to South Kolan outside of Bundaberg for 1 week.
