Sunday 18th July 2021
Today we went to the cathedral for mass, had a family lunch and did our weekly shopping.
The weather has been a beautiful 33 degrees most days with 60-98% humidity.
In the afternoon we did some arts and crafts. We made birthday party hats for Madeline’s 3rd birthday this week.
After Madeline went to bed we put together her birthday present and set up the caravan for her birthday surprise.
Monday 19th July 2021
“Celebration” Madeline shouts from her bed!
Madeline wanted to go to the shops, so around mid morning we went to the shopping centre.
We also visited the Library and played a little.
In the afternoon we painted our Bingo statue that she got for her birthday.
We had cake and did a Face-time with Nanna Lin and Babcia and Dziadzio Blimka.
Tuesday 20th July 2021
Today we attended toddler time at night cliff library.
In the afternoon we went swimming in the pool.

Wednesday 21st July 2021
Today we spent the day doing arts and crafts and swimming in the afternoon.
Thursday 22nd July 2021
We attended the Royal Darwin Show today.
The show was a miniature version of the Royal Easter Show. It had all the side show games, showbags, rides, animals, animal judging, arts and craft judging and food judging.
Madeline really enjoyed the rides. Particularly the dodgem cars.
We spent some money on showbags. Madeline got her Bluey bag.
Friday 23rd July 2021
Eva had injured her left foot which has severe arthritis in one of its joints. She spent the day resting the foot.
Daddy and Madeline went shopping. They also spent lots of time playing and doing art.
Saturday 24th July 2021
We went to the information centre today to have a look at some information about town and the surrounds.
After lunch we took a quick stroll along the Esplanade, but the bearing down sun made it a quick one.
In the afternoon we went swimming. Madeline doesn’t go anywhere without her Bluey bag now.
Next week
Eva starts work as a locum and Madeline starts swimming lessons.
