Today we celebrated Charlotte’s Christening day. We wanted to have her Christened before leaving Darwin on the rest of our road trip.
Diane and Christopher were the chosen GodParents for Charlotte, with expressed hope they will nurture her spiritually within the Catholic faith throughout her life, along side us as parents.
The Christening was presided by Bishop Eugene Hurley of Darwin and took place at the 930am Sunday mass at St Marys Star of the Sea Cathedral, Darwin.
Also present on the day was Wanda, Natasha and Gabriel. Unfortunately none of Jasons family could make it, but were there in spirit.
Bishop allowed Madeline to sit in his chair before mass for photos.
After mass we attended Lizard Bar and Restaurant, on Mitchell Street, for lunch.
After a sensational lunch, we returned to our home sit for coffee and cake.
What a fabulous and love filled Christening Day.
