Saturday 24th April 2021
Today we woke up, after a sleep through, at 7am. It was overcast and windy, but we received only minor spitting of rain on occasion.
We had breakfast and headed off to Aitkenvale Library, one of 3 libraries in Townsville.
We became a member of the library today to, so we could print off some arts and crafts stuff.

Mum and dad checked out a book each and mum also got 2 DVDs.

After 1.5hrs we went back home via the local chemist for some regular scripts.
We had lunch when we got home and organised next weeks meals.
After lunch was ANZAC Day specific arts and crafts.
We made an ANZAC Day Wreath after colouring all the bits and pieces.

We hung the wreath on the front of our caravan door.
After cleaning up we played with some playdoh and then went outside to do some chalk play.

We then had a small solo dance from Madeline, we only caught the end on video.
It was then time to shower and bath before dinner.
Tomorrow
The day is supposed to be nicer, but we are again playing it by ear. Jason is likely going out fishing in the morning on the outgoing tide.
There is alot closed due to ANZAC Day, including several road closures.
The next 3 weeks
We will be stationed in Townsville and Eva is returning to locum work. We will again be posting weekly blogs.
Stayed tuned for our trip to Magnetic Island.
