Wednesday 16th June 2021
We set off to Mount Isa at 6am today. We had 650km to travel today. There was NO accommodation in any other town along the way.
We stopped every 2 hrs to stretch and change drivers.
We stopped in McKinley for a stretch and toilet break.
We made it to Cloncurry by 130pm for lunch.
We finally arrived at our accommodation at 415pm.
Exhausted we unpacked the bare essentials and headed of for a shower and early night sleep.
This week
The remainder of this week and most of next week will be spent in Mount Isa at the hotel and around town.
We will keep the blog updated s we go on and as things are sorted out.
