On April 2nd 2020 we picked up our new caravan. We spent 4 hours in handover learning all the ways to use its components.
We were hitched up, our reverse camera installed and extendable mirrors on.
Our 21Ft Road Owl, preciously named Owlette, was hitched to our 2018 Ford Ranger. She was so smooth on the road and the Ranger pulled her without any issues. The trip home was smooth sailing.
We parked her onto the driveway on the levelling ramps. Uh oh. She wasn’t level. We needed the jockey wheel at mid level to get her off the car, but need the jockey wheel at the lowest level to level her out. The plan is to take the load off the jockey and change its position in the coming days.
Owlette is home. Madeline loves her. Now it’s time to slowly fit her out.
